Thanksgiving Extra's

If you are hosting Thanksgiving this year and you have even a speck of time left after establishing your menu, shopping, cleaning, cooking, making sure you have all your dishes and serving wear...  Maybe you can have fun with these festive decorations.

I think some of these are "projects" and can be done if you have started early...like in August!  Gather photo's of family members that will be attending.  Copy and use Sepia coloring for antique look.  Paste onto cardstock.  Really adds a personal touch to your table.

When we have had Thanksgiving, there was always a need for a kids table.  I think this is easy and fun for them.

This place card is so cute!

This is kind of wierd and fun.

Very sweet decoration.

Have a restful weekend!

Love the kids' table idea, that's where I want to sit! And I am totally inspired by the little sweetgum "placecard." Those spiky droppings litter our neighborhood, so
free for the taking!

Have a great weekend! .nelya

Jamilyn, great minds think alike, I just posted on Thanksgiving today and had as well looked at Martha Stuart's website, aren't her table settings so pretty?
I picked a few different ones....
Love your table for the kids, so sweet and tongue in cheek!

Have a wonderful weekend!

I really love the idea of the sepia tone photos. Wouldn't that be great for the old folks to see their pictures mixed in with the newest members of the family? I think it would look lovely. Thanks for the great ideas. I've added you to my list of favorites. I should have done it sooner, but I forgot!

Hi Jamilyn!

First things first, thanks oh so much for stopping by my little blog and commenting! As well as the compliments on my family. Way to warm a girls heart right off the bat. :) Please do stop back, often!

I'm loving these Thanksgiving decorating ideas! We are hosting the feast at our house this year and although there will only be 2 youngins (my son Jack, and my niece Alivia), I'm sure they'd love having dinner at that toddler table setup just as much as I love the idea and look of it! I'll post pictures if it turns out at least half as cute.

:) Hope to see you at "perfect imperfection" again soon. ;)
